Ukraine Emergency Summit
The BBC reports:
European leaders set to hold emergency summit on Ukraine
European leaders are set to gather next week for an emergency summit on the war in Ukraine in response to concerns the US is moving ahead with Russia on peace talks that will lock out the continent.
Sir Keir Starmer, who is expected to attend the summit in Paris, said it was a "once-in-a-generation moment for our national security" and it was clear Europe must take a greater role in Nato.
It comes after Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine said European leaders would be consulted but not take part in any talks between US and Russia over ending the war.
I have already made my view on this clear. European countries should come together and create a European Military Alliance to combat the threat from Putin and any future threats that may arise.
Zelensky wants European army
BBC reports that Army of Europe needed to challenge Russia:
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for the creation of an "army of Europe" to guard against Russia as he suggested the US may no longer come to the continent's aid.
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, he also said that Ukraine would "never accept deals made behind our backs without our involvement" after US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to start peace talks.
Zelensky is quite correct here. Europe -- including Ukraine, Britain, and EU countries -- needs to be militarily and politically united and armed to the teeth.
Make Europe Dangerous Again, and then no-one can threaten us!

Ukrainian modular homes
Ukraine is building $15,000 modular homes:
This demonstrates that housing is expensive, not because houses are intrinsically expensive to build, but because it suits the interests of the rich that they are expensive to buy/rent.
Wokists censor information about immigrants
Via Rob Henderson, City Journal notes that the Swedish government is censoring information about immigration, specifically which source countries do immigrants come from who do worst in the labour market:
A new study of migrants to Sweden found something that will surprise no one: immigrants from some countries end up making significantly more money, on average, than immigrants from others. Country of origin matters a lot, and it matters at least into the second generation.
So, which countries are typically the best producers of talent for Sweden? Unfortunately, we can only guess, because the University of Lund’s ethics review board stopped Ek from telling us. As he explains in the “read me” file for his dataset:
“When applying for [Swedish government] data that includes at least one variable deemed ‘sensitive’ (birth country and parental birth country in the case of this project), it is mandatory to have the research project approved by an ethics review board. In this particular case, it was approved by the Ethics Review board 3, in Lund (DNR 2015/52). To get this project approved, I agreed to the condition that I do not make any results available at the country level, but only present results related to average country characteristics. Therefore, I omit country names.”
It is exactly this sort of censorship and intellectual dishonesty that makes people distrust wokists.
The cost of losing Europe's arms market
If Trump keeps pissing off Europe, it's likely Europe will buy less weapons from the US and make their own instead.

It’s time for Europe to become fully self-sufficient in defence procurement.
