I was interested until you insulted President Trump. You may find him distasteful (your personal opinion, which you are entitled to), but to call him stupid betrays any semblance of objectivity.
Alienate over half the country (President Trump WON re-election), and you shoot yourself in the foot. What a Barney Fife move! You will get no more attention from me.
Is Trump stupid? My prior that he is comes from his behaviour, some examples of which are:
(1) saying USA wouldn't defend NATO countries, apparently not realising this encourages Russia to attack them.
(2) reports that as president he refused to read memos longer than 1 page
(3) thinking that "Thailand" is pronounced "Thighland", a shocking gap in a head of state/government
(4) not doing anything about Big Tech, even though it is obvious that it is against Republicans, and not even trying to do anything until his presidency had 6 months to go, and then doing something ineffectual i.e. talking about removing section 230 immunity. If he wanted to go after big tech he could have gone along when e.g. Warren talked of splitting up Facebook
(5) On the subject of big tech, he could have mandated federation using ActivityPub, which would greatly decrease the power of big tech platforms. But he couldn't because he's never heard of ActivityPub, because he is incurious.
(6) Still on the subject of big tech, instead of getting Ajit Pai to gut net neutrality, he could have said "net neutrality is a wonderful idea, let's apply it to other levels of the protocol stack". Except he couldn't because he's never heard of a protocol stack or why it's important.
(7) Trump wanted to go against China. This is fine and good. But to oppose China effectively you have to build alliances, and he spent 4 years alienating allies.

(8) Trump legitimately thought passing an I-don't-have-Alzheimers test something to brag about.
